Just saw Texas Raiders in Kennesaw GA a few months ago. Such a beautiful B17.

A terrible tragedy.

Praying for all of the families involved.

A sad day for vintage WWII aircraft.

I’ve read 6 people died in the crash, including the king cobra’s pilot.

 

A tragedy.

 I don’t have words to express my sadness. Sadness for the human loss of course but also the loss of such a piece of history

Sadness is one for sure, but it's also real loss for the (free?) world as this B17 was live symbol of all the heroism and sacrifices from so many ww2 pilots and crew members, bringing down the Nazi industry to it's knees and freeing Europe in the long run.

 

Salute to the Texas Raiders' crew and what they stood for by all their work and commitments on the project.
