Aerostats dont count as balloon kills in BON?

Wow I gunned down 4 of them floating above ships during D day in BON.

 

I got rewarded with exactly 0 victory.

It makes sense. They are not observation balloons, so not very valuable as a target.

Searchlights now count as a destroyed targets now. I would assume aerostats should reward you with a victory too.

 

Oh well.

Last time I read that reply on a forum, it was 2007 I think! You are way more than 'cool' my dear captain.

 

On a different note though, despite the aerostats not worth wasting your time with, beachhead attack missions are really great.

Balloons don't count as air kills because they are not an "aerial target". This thread is a lost cause.

Funny, when scrolling through live objects with F5, balloons are counted as full linked entities; they should count LoL.

So in wait for some update I'll already start a little practice session in the pub:
