My IL-2 Career at Stalingrad ended abruptly  after being killed when I  accepted the mission finale without restarting while I wasn't paying attention so that was annoying.

So I jumped back to BOM to start a better historical progression and decided to try the PE2. From that I realized they were more of the Pendulem style control and so was the C47 and so I decided to try out a yoke as I was using the 16000M before.

 

So far it seems quite good with the main unit being quiet solid and the throttle quadrant feeling cheaper as per the reviews. Kind of a shame they didnt use more metal in that.

 

All in all I am pretty happy with it though as it definitely feels better for the bigger bombers. It's also nice having a throttle axis for the 2nd engine which i didnt have before. 

 

Its got a good layout of buttons with one gripe being that the flap lever on the main unit operates as the same button up and down which isn't the best but it should be fun for the C47

I am trying to get this same setup to work right now, the yoke is able to be bound, but none of the axes or buttons actually do anything in game. Do you have any suggestions for how I could get it working?

That seems odd!

 

Are you running the Thrustmaster Heart software?
