Hi there.

I was having major issues with error message:

I finally kind of solved issues by rolling back the drivers. It is only fix that worked. But now Sturmovik loading very slowly and is slow and juddery.

Any ideas what can be done? I have a good rig

You need to provide GPU model, manufacturer, drivers installed for the video card. No one can begin to assist without that.

This error happens when your video card gets disconnected or turned off for some reason, probably because of the drivers error, overheating or the connector problems. Lags after that are most probably because of the game not able to use your main video adapter and using integrated one instead. We have such problem on one of our working laptops here, the issue with switching to integrated adaptor should be fixed by reboot, but the connection problem most probably is caused by your hardware or drivers, rather than the game.

If you're overlooking your gpu you may want to disable it. It's probably your GPU driver crashing, so the game thinks the card is disconnecting. Nvidia has released a new driver since the one that caused all sorts of issues. Also if you didn't use DDU to do a clean install when you rolled back, you may want to go back and do it now with a fresh driver install

I get this error when I go too far trying to OC my 3060ti. I can play all day with an OC of 1890, but once I jump to 1905, I get this error after a short time flying.

Graphic card is a NIVIDIA GEForce GTX 1080. I use GEForce to update drivers.

Sometimes it helpful to restart the driver. Win+Ctrl+Shift+B

One of the things I've done over the last couple of years that smooths out GPU performance and reduces glitches is undervolting using MSI Afterburner. It involves creating a custom voltage frequency curve that caps the frequency for all of the higher voltages (0.95 and above in my case) rather than letting try to go higher. This seems to work better than forcing max power performance, and overclocking to get the best in game experience because it avoids any instability that causes the GPU output to fluctuate. It has the side benefit of using less power and running a little cooler.

Thanks for all your feedback. Managed to fix issue by making my nividia graphic card the default card. Game working but still feels a bit slow and blocky. But at least I'm up and running. Thanks
