Here is a video of various gun camera clips and rarely do we see vast plumes of thick smoke from a fire on the aircraft. Looking at the video, the thick black smoke only ever appears when the aircraft has a complete catastrophic failure. BoX has long streams of thick black smoke for nearly every fire that happens onboard an aircraft. Would it be possible for the thick black smoke to only be triggered if there is a fuel tank explosion and all other times just dark black smoke from engine fires rather than opaque? 1 4
