LOADING MISSIONS

Hi there I am a new comer to il2 but my problem is ,when loading missions from the forum to my data/missions folder a couple work in game,

but the rest don't. I get the message {Mission Description is loading},I've tried to emulate the ones that do work with the ones that don't but no joy.

I acquired  the games through steam,,,,,,   il2  Stalingrad,, cliffs of dover,

   bodenplatte,,  normandy,, and  tank crew prokhorovka

any reply would be greatly appreciated....

not sure to understand? what is the problem? you can't load missions, or it's just brief missions?

I hope you found the answer to this, but if not there's a "Resave All Missions in Folder" utility in the BOS Mission Editor in the Tools menu.

 

Open the Windows Explorer and navigate to <game folder>\IL-2 Sturmovik Great Battles\bin\editor and double-click STEditor.exe. Start the Resave utility and point it to "data\Missions" and "data\Campaigns" folder to fix this for both downloaded missions and campaigns. It'll take about 20 minutes to run this. You should be good to go after it's finished.
