Career Mode Question

Hello all. Quick question about career mode. Is there any penalty for exiting the mission once all objectives are completed instead of flying all the way back to base and landing? Honestly the repetition of 150km RTB trips is getting old and the couple of times I have quit early all it says is “flight cancelled” but still shows as a successful mission. Just curious if there is any hidden penalty in the system that I don’t know about. Thanks all.
