The first one of them is the C-47A Skytrain. ............................... The second plane we'd like to tell you about today is the late WWI fighter with rotative engine, the epitome of the British aircraft design school - Sopwith Snipe single seater. ............................... Speaking of WWI we should mention that the Flying Circus Vol.II map had good progress. ............................... Full news - here is a full text and visual materials 10 6 1
RNAS10_Oliver Posted November 3, 2022 Posted November 3, 2022 But it’s not Friday! Good news. Am looking forward to the content and changes mentioned for FC.
Mm1ut1 Posted November 3, 2022 Posted November 3, 2022 Hopefully the C-47 will end the friendly fire when using the Ju52 to supply red airfields ! 4
JG4_Moltke1871 Posted November 3, 2022 Posted November 3, 2022 Thanks a lot for this update especially for the FC2 content. I am happy to see the new map is the Verdun sector. I explored this area in real live and can’t wait do it again in the „VR past“. Thanks you make this possible!!! Also happy to see the progress of the C47. For me I will say I really appreciate if you keep us up to date about the progress of this great project, especially in strange times ?
Koziolek Posted November 3, 2022 Posted November 3, 2022 Is the FC2 map completely new or is it extension of Arras map?
=621=Samikatz Posted November 3, 2022 Posted November 3, 2022 New map, new bird, DM fixes... I guess I am going back to WW1 very soon! And the C-47 looks lovely. Based on the fact that theres a co-pilot model for each seat does that mean you can you fly from both? 1 1
DD_Arthur Posted November 3, 2022 Posted November 3, 2022 Thanks for the dev diary Han. Very interesting. When will we know more about the revised damage model for FC?
Vastarien Posted November 3, 2022 Posted November 3, 2022 Not a fan of the bland BoBP ground textures on the 1918 front. Normandy is a definite step up, I hope to see the improvements carried over to WWI. 1 1
Trooper117 Posted November 3, 2022 Posted November 3, 2022 A DD that has something that I can fully crow about... WWI improvements, at last, something positive. The Dak looks absolutely great! 1
RNAS10_Mitchell Posted November 3, 2022 Posted November 3, 2022 YES! Wonderful FC news. Very excited for Snipe, Map, and DM tweaks. 2
kendo Posted November 3, 2022 Posted November 3, 2022 Appreciate the WW1 news. Looking forward to the new map and DM revision.
JGr2/J5_Hotlead Posted November 3, 2022 Posted November 3, 2022 Excellent news! Thank you very much for looking at the WW1 rifle caliber rounds DM. This means a lot to us! And the Snipe looks gorgeous! I’m sure it’s gonna give us German pilots fits. ??

According to the original announcement for Vol.II the plan is to have the center section of the front between here and Arras and merge all three maps into one once it is released. 1
Blitzen Posted November 3, 2022 Posted November 3, 2022 (edited) Captain Hendry asks "I'm curious - is there any chance the C-47 will come with optional "landing skis?" We've got a strange disturbance near the North Pole, and have been asked toi investigate same so I have a feeling they might just come in handy." Edited November 3, 2022 by Blitzen Screenshots
simfan2015 Posted November 3, 2022 Posted November 3, 2022 Thank you for reporting on the progress ! Wonderfull news, makes my day.

1PL-Husar-1Esk Posted November 3, 2022 Posted November 3, 2022 (edited) Good to hear news about FC and it's evolution to be the true successor of ROF. It would be nice if you could consider to have some kind of open beta test for new FC damage model. Best feedback came from multiplayer dogfights. Edited November 3, 2022 by 1PL-Husar-1Esk 1
Gambit21 Posted November 3, 2022 Posted November 3, 2022 Umm...I'm speechless. That C-47 looks OUTSTANDING!! 2
jojy47jojyrocks Posted November 3, 2022 Posted November 3, 2022 Eagerly awaiting the FC2 Career prospect. As for the collector planes, I much prefer combat planes...but that is just me.
BigMotor Posted November 3, 2022 Posted November 3, 2022 Excited for the FC2 progress, keep up the good work and thanks much for the update.
Jade_Monkey Posted November 3, 2022 Posted November 3, 2022 Based on the screenshots from both seats, is it fair to assume we will be able to switch between both positions?
fergal69 Posted November 3, 2022 Posted November 3, 2022 Thanks for the update on the C-47. Will we get some small arms to try shooting down attacking planes ? 1
ShamrockOneFive Posted November 3, 2022 Posted November 3, 2022 A good looking update! I love the look of that C-47 cockpit in low light. I am curious. Is AQMB also coming to the Western Front map? It's a feature that I've really come to enjoy with the WWII content and I'm hoping we see it for WWI too! 1
Firesilver Posted November 3, 2022 Posted November 3, 2022 THANK YOU for the C-47 update! it's been so long I am so excited! 2
