BF109-E4 with front armoured wind screen / with the armour plate for head protection?

Hi,

Question:

I know that the E4 had the MG-FF/M cannons and the automatic propeller pitch control.

But was the armoured wind screen and the the big armour plate for back / head protection already installed in the E4 too? I mean in the Battle of Britain fighter versions?
