What's with the passive aggressiveness? I've been waiting forever for Bodenplatte and Moscow over the summer and nothing.

I found the “omg” funny - don’t get triggered.

Hope you get your sale.

To save you some disappointment, I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess they don't have a thing called "Cyber Monday"..... "over there"

I would say it's a nice, sturdy, reinforced limb that you're standing on my friend.

What a First World problem, jeebus.

You would be surprised at how tuned in the world market is to the American consumer's buying patterns.

To those who think digital media sales only coincide with events native to those of the parent company's locale, I cordially invite you to take a business class.....anywhere.

Honestly, with the cost of this game's content, sales are needed to keep new players coming/interested.

Umm…you need to send that to the 1C offices rather than post it here ;)

I think you missed the point a bit.

I didn't miss the point at all. I've known a number of people put off by the prices of these products despite how old they are....seemingly never changing in cost outside of sales. Jason ran the sales, he is no longer here, people are wondering when the next sale it. That's it. No memes or gifs needed, unless you feel the need to just chime in. *shrug*

Sure, but that's a different statement than you made above.

It's directly relatable to the conversation and was building off of Majormagee's statement.

BoS, and the other previously released modules, aren't really old though. Aside from the aircraft and cockpit 3D models, the modules have had several content expansions and graphical updates. Buying BoS today is more like buying a re-release, a Redux, or what have you of a product that if you compared its release to today, it has significantly far more content and playability. Additionally they get all new features and updates that are created or introduced with no additional cost.

Can't really call it old when it keeps getting updated. At this point BoS' state is a re-re-re-release of the original that's significantly more expansive but still the same price as it was when it was barely anything other than a decent map with a handful of planes.

Not to mention all of the people that whine and complain about their pet peeve of various need but seemingly don't want to pay for the development of that feature.

Yeah, I'm gagging for the sales too lol... $79 usd is $136.19 nzd for me at the moment, and that exchange rate is only getting worse. The game is great, no major complaints, I will probably play it as long as I did 46, (only retired last year) but I just can't afford any new modules until a sale comes along.

I'm kinda getting the feeling that with the current goings on, the money handlers at 1CGS have little appetite for discounting their product at all; I imagine they are rather keen to squeeze every last USD they can out of this enterprise at the moment.

Older games are generally lower in price not just because they are a little outdated, but also because there is such a small market for them because the overwhelming majority of the people interested in the game, has already bought the game. So even with BoS being updated doesn't change the fact that overwhelming majority of the people who may interested in the game already own it.
