Setting trim ?

I am having problems getting my trim tabs set. What does one have the trim axis set to for things to work?

It depends what plane.  I think you probably already know this, but some have a moveable stabilizer, some have tabs.  Some have electric trim, most have trim wheels.  I haven’t looked recently, but if you go through the controls, it ought to say something like ‘FW-190 stabilizer’.  I think only the 109 series has a moveable stabilizer that can be set to use an axis, even though it has a wheel.  All the rest of the planes require mapping to a button.
