Didn't changed anything ingame, or on my hardware. This last mission it starts all again: randomly triggered assigned buttons on the X-56 without touching them. Great in dive bombing with suddenly 8x speed on or gear out or funny self opening canopy by over 400 km\h... unplayable ?
AEthelraedUnraed Posted October 28, 2022 Posted October 28, 2022 Are you quite sure your joystick isn't malfunctioning? To me this sounds like a hardware problem with your joystick. Open up the stick and clean all contacts; see if it still malfunctions after that.
Traffic Posted October 28, 2022 Posted October 28, 2022 X56 throttle quadrant's are power hungry. I had the same issue. First, there's a way to increase voltage to the USB ports via control panel settings. Second, many people opt to use a powered USB hub. Both worked for me and solved all my ghosting commands.
76SQN-Minimayhemtemp Posted October 30, 2022 Posted October 30, 2022 Can offer some advice here. I have the same setup and had the same issues. Traffic is right - these are power hungry units. You ideally need to be connecting the throttle quadrant into a usb slot that is not utilized by any other device. Try moving your usb items around to different slots and isolate the throttle quadrant. Also like traffic suggested, a powered usb hub can also help. Have hope! I've had my x-56 for over a year and after a couple of weeks of landing gears and canopy openings at random it's been trouble free since then, and is a truly awesome device.

My last straw was a 9 streak blown because my gear retracted during take off resulting in a crash. I moved around USB ports and ended up using a powered USB hub to the stick, but increasing the voltage to the USB ports was my personal fix. Trial and error works. The X56 is a great set up.
