Prop effects from inside the cockpit?

Hey guys this is a minor complaint but one that would be great to get fixed at some point, some planes seem to suffer more from this then others, obviously that sharp line should not be there.

Suffer from what? Could you explain a little more?

Not so sure if that's so obvious. There's a sharp line here:

I think that with some planes (propellers) under some circumstances, a sharp line may actually be realistic.

I think that's because some planes also have light coloured prop tips so that makes it show up even more at certain angles-to-the-sun.

I think prop effects are still much better in CloD and that other sim. On this matter the new update felt quite underwhelming.

Don't know about the 2D but in VR these props are outstanding in their effects.

It may be better in VR but all the other flight Sims look much better in this regard.

I found this in the mod section

One issue that may be causing the prop image to stand out more from the cockpit is that all the default BOX skins have the back of the prop tip painted.  That's not usual for single engine aircraft because the circle image is distracting and hypnotic.  It is a common safety function on multi-engined aircraft as ground personnel can approach the engine from the rear, especially on larger aircraft where they can walk under the wing.  Plus they are not in the pilot's view.  Here's an image of the restored P-51B and D models of Old Crow.  No paint on the back of the props.

Referencing modern-day images of restored aircraft and thus are no longer "factory-original" isn't the best thing to do. Painted prop tips on the side facing the pilot were very much a thing on P-51s:

I stand corrected.  I also need to correct the statement that BOX aircraft have the tips painted as the German and Russian aircraft do not.
