looking for a "realistic" tank server

well, since we're not close to having new solo content, I've gone back to multiplayer a little more, but I'm looking for a fairly realistic server...

the FVP server is nice, but the multitude of fronts, the lack of missions and the full panther/tiger teams (be careful, I'm above all a Germanic tank player...) I'm a little tired...

 

does anyone know of a realistic tank server (I have the impression that the answer will be nah, TC multi does not seem very popular... and the number of servers is limited...)... I try my luck...

Let me know if you find one. I am new to the multiplayer realm on IL-2 and would love to find a realisticish server.

There are hardly any "secret" servers that we don't know about. I counted five servers with tanks, the most popular AAS and Finnish. There are no others and probably won't be.

 

In order to maintain the interest of the players need to constantly update the missions, change seasons, maps or battle arena within the same map. When a player goes through the same thing every day, fatigue and apathy sets in. There is no interest.

 

Previously I liked playing Finnish, as there on the same map you can choose between two sectors, the front line was moving, you are constantly finding yourself in new terrain. It brought variety. But now I very rarely play there, I'm bored and not interested.

 

But also I understand that the server owners have their own life and no time to constantly update the content. It's titanic work.

That's why we run in circles. In that case, it's better to take a break for a while.

Get in touch w/ the SCG (Simulation Combat Group) boys. They are currently in the process of building a private campaign which you might be able to join. Currently, it's SCG vs JG1. Don't let that trouble you. If you reach out to either group, they will probably be able to find you a spot in order to play. I should also mention that in addition of tanks, there will be limited aircraft available to fly in combat.
