Yep, and We have ideas how to make it real. It is very simple idea - you need to develop basis things for the future now, today, and not postpone it for tomorrow. If we would thought this way 1.5 years ago - Pacific could be our next project. And we, team, have tought this way than. But decisions were made not by the team then, 1.5 years ago. Now, after all recent changes - they are.    So if we will have a success in hiring new specialists - than next time it will become a true becaus

There will be a Podcast, announcements have not been announced... but this is under the announcements section

Honestly. I am fine with devs ambitions, thrilled might be correct word for it. 
most of all because in such work improvements occurred   To me improvements on what we have , always been most appreciated. 
I still hope my ai buddies, at one time will feel like buddies, not backstabbing bastards. 
I hope one day we will be able to have massive amount of planes in the air.

The option to be able to play with the timers as there are in game or to turn them off and relying only on the thermal modelling of engines was something that was talked about time ago...

Now that the team is changing some directions (or so has been implied) there is a ton of things that can be changed, starting from engine timers. 
Eventho many of us hate it, at least I understand why they are there.

But as Han said, they are now taking some decissions and so far, the team has always been really upfront and up to date with it.

So yeah, let's see what happens and what they tell us tomorrow!

Something I still don't get is getting a scenario where the air battle was ... anecdotical ... 

Let's get real air battles like Malta or the PTO. What the point of Normandy when it was one-sided? I just don't get it ... sorry

I doubt timers for engines are anywhere on their list, in all this years they didnt even bather to: explain how they pick and chose recover times, how they pick and chose random fail time after safe time is over, why no techchat info about them, why no proper realisam ON/OFF setting for them... im sure that in tomorow Q/A you aint gona see them mentioned.

Patience is a virtue my friend! Of course is not going to be now, but things that can be or might be are looking better in those fronts now.

That is a very (becoming typical) off-the-wall post.

CBI is actually the perfect lead-in to PTO.

Tbh I would like to have something from the early war from ether invasion of Poland, Battle for Netherlands or the battle for France. 

 

Because we had three DLC from the eastern front and two on the western front all in mid to late war.

 

I just kinda want something with a little spice in the next DLC.

CBI is early war...and yes early war (which I count Guadalcanal as well) is the best IMHO.

That's why I like the whole 109E and I16 thing.

We've had 5, yes count them....FIVE releases in a row now dealing with Germany as the Axis force.

Thats why west front was started with Battle of Bodenplatte and Mustangs 262s D9s Tempests... insted Battle of Dieppe... with SpitV or 190A4 that were already in game in similar type... You dont start aisian expantion in game by doing Burma DLC if you have plan to do anything els more famous and with airplanes that ppl wont like Zero vs Cats, you start with best bet so you gave it best chance and your able to make 2nd PTO... who would buy 2nd west front, or did they start east front with Battle of Poland 39, lol game would be dead on arival, they started it with best posible balance 109F4 vs Yak-1 to give it chance.

So do you start Korea without MiG 15 and Saber, no you start it with best bet...

Bruma is not lead in into PTO, is ending PTO dreams if it comes before PTO.

Even if it's CBI, I'm not sure 3rd party campaigns will be a thing going forward.

I'm not saying it can't happen in theory, but it would require some conversations.

The closest is War Thunder with the Fokker D.XXI & D.XXI Series 3 under the Finnish air service.

It's not just to simplify FM, add to it aircraft animation itself (including flight control surface animations) and AI gunners that eat performance too.

You want proof, just create mission with many ground units/vehicles....they don't have FM!

And again, in enigma video they say airplanes are bigest performanc eaters, and even question why servers dont reduce slots for airplanes if they wont more active ground war... so there is clear disconect, they think there is no big problem and we can just adjust, and we think there is a problem... i do not see anything changing then.

The point of Normandy is to have a Channel Map and a sandbox for 1941-1945 planes, hence why we have two maps and will likely get a winter map at some point.
