Mysticpuma Posted October 25, 2022 Posted October 25, 2022 Buzzsaw, any chance of an honest update in this thread giving any sort of road map as it currently stands? Simply asking how far in a percentage you are to fixing the Speedtree, VR and Truesky bugs, improvements and implementation? No expectations of a release date, I know that is too much to ask based on all previous correspondence with TFS, however your post in the "Still here" thread does alude to the testing being still in the early days, with support from Truesky having to be bought so that bugs can be fixed and as you say "recently". Simple question, without the words "hope", "would like", "we aim", "it's planned" ...... do you expect to see VR and the visual update released this year? That's all I ask. Cheers, Mysticpuma. 1
5th_Barone Posted October 25, 2022 Posted October 25, 2022 Just a question after the message from buzzaw that said (if I got it correctly) that only now the new spit and 109 cockpits have been introduced in the beta. All the other planes will get a new cockpit or it's just spit/109? I imagine that this work takes quite a good time.
Spook109 Posted October 25, 2022 Posted October 25, 2022 I second this. The lack of info on VR is annoying. I bought both CoD titles with the promise that VR was well in the works. That was almost two years ago, IIRC. I don't expect a release date but come on - at least give us a vague sense of where things stand, so we have something to plan things like hardware upgrades around.
Rei-sen Posted October 25, 2022 Posted October 25, 2022 Also it would be nice to know if there are plans to address this issue: 1

We have posted updates on VR progress regularly. And you can join the VR Beta anytime you want if you want to see yourself... assuming you do have proof of ownership of a VR headset and both BLITZ/TOBRUK. 3 hours ago, Arthur-A said: Also it would be nice to know if there are plans to address this issue: We have already mentioned a number of times we will be improving the AI for the TF 6.0 release. 1
Dagwoodyt Posted October 25, 2022 Posted October 25, 2022 (edited) I understand that any info from the development team opens up a "can", but that is to be expected. I never believed that a mid-Fall 2022 Update release was realistic. Others pointed this out. I had hoped for Update release before end of 2022. That hope is evaporating. I hope that the Update will be available by Summer 2023, but reality seems to be that no one is positioned to predict. Development must be a day-by-day process with the Blitz engine wherein no one knows what is around the next bend. Best of luck to us all! ? Edited October 25, 2022 by Dagwoodyt
Team Fusion Buzzsaw Posted October 25, 2022 Team Fusion Posted October 25, 2022 Hello All We continue to make progress and work on the Visual Update. Those who are testing the VR Beta can see that. However, our target for Fall 2022 release will probably not be met. For those who consider this unforgivable, you are welcome to call for the cancellation of the game's development by TF... then we know what you really want. For those who are willing to be a bit more patient, we appreciate your forbearance. 1
