PatrickAWlson Posted October 23, 2022 Posted October 23, 2022 Trying to convert the DDS files or use them in Gimp and it is not working. The resulting image is always mostly transparent. This includes loading the DDS into gimp directly or trying to convert the image to BMP. JPG, or PNG using an online conversion tool. The only tool that works is DXTBmp but that is very slow. Has anybody had any success with speedy conversion?
Taurus Posted October 23, 2022 Posted October 23, 2022 For DDS to BMP's Load the .dds into Gimp. (Uncheck mip maps before loading.) Go to Channels and turn off alpha view. Export as... bmp Cheers, 1 3
