ITAF_Airone1989 Posted October 23, 2022 Posted October 23, 2022 (edited) I created this PDF file Kneeboard V1.1.zipto be used in the game with Openkneeboard (there was already a Topic here on the forum but seems that has been deleted ?♂️), but you can use them even just opening the PDF file. The main advantage over "Pilot notes" is the amount of information that can be written. The folder contain:Bf109 (Bf109 E7 -> Bf109 K4)Fw190 (Fw190 A3 -> Fw190 D9)Macchi e Jets (Mc202, Me262, Ar234)Bombers (Ju87, Hs129, Bf110 E2, Bf110 G2, Bf410, Ju88 A4, Ju88 C6, H111 H6, H111 H16, Ju52) You will find inside: - Engine data about RPM, radiators, etc... - A speed comparison chart per altitude (green dot: you are faster than the enemy - red dot: you are slower than him - % symbol: you are faster just with 100% engine) - Info about speeds (landing, take-off, emergency glideslope) - Checklist for take-off, landing, emergency, etc.. Let me know if something is not clear or if there is some mistake Edited October 24, 2022 by ITAF_Airone1989 4 4 2
dgiatr Posted October 24, 2022 Posted October 24, 2022 Very useful tool you made here , thank you! Just some thoughts from me... 1. i think BF 109 F4 has EMERGENCY mode also, 2. Can you add BF 109 G2 in comparison with P38J25, P47 D22-D28 and P-51B ( planet set No4 in FINNISH multiplayer...)? 3. What do you mean by the symbol /: +3min/-1min ? where is that symbol? (probably comparing BF 109 F2 VS P40?) Thank you again, Jim
ITAF_Airone1989 Posted October 24, 2022 Author Posted October 24, 2022 1) Good catch, I added Emergency mode to Bf109 F4, G4 and G6. 2) That planes are not in planset 4, according to their picture: 3) /: +3min/-1min I explain with an example that is better understood This:?/? P-39 means that if both aircraft will run with full throttle the P39 will be faster than you (red dot), but both of you can keep this power just for 1 minute. After that time to avoid engine problems you will have to reduce to combat power, and in this case the P39 will be slower than you. So the first (green) dot have to be considered for chase longer than 3 minutes, the second (red) one for the short period (1 min max)
C6_lefuneste Posted October 24, 2022 Posted October 24, 2022 Should be good to have same indicators for Roll/Dive/Climb/Turn/Accel information also. But it would be a lot of work...
ITAF_Airone1989 Posted October 24, 2022 Author Posted October 24, 2022 (edited) Max dive speed, turn speed and climb speed per altitude can be added, the problem is how to write them in an good way. No idea how to find the other data Edited October 24, 2022 by ITAF_Airone1989
