I think he meant updates. And he has a point

Promises and expectations vs. delivery, as Liz Truss just discovered, is an important and rapidly evaluated delta.

Maybe I missed a memo. BTW, where are all the other projects? Or the public face of the company? You know, Jason something. Stuff that people pick up on pretty darned quickly.

Ask Jason.

Ta-152H dont fit maps in game.

I also think this spit 16 bubble is waist of airplane slot, its not used mutch and its wors in performance then 16 that is already collector, visibility is already better then needed on it so bubble canopy is not needed in game, also planty of allied fighters that fit maps and were used in more timeline that they could pick insted. So you already have better airplane then it as collector, and it can be used for BoN and Bobp, why would anyone pay for this one that he will not even be able to use in MP... but they said they pick this one to train new guy, so it is what it is.

It is as close as no-one cares and equivalent in actually utility. The Spit is a XIV, BTW. A XVI would also be relevant if somewhat unnecessary.

You're just looking at it from MP perspective. There are other reasons for wanting it.

And you gave the reason for making it - part training, part easier to do than a completely new aircraft - low hanging fruit, and a welcome addition.

Please stay with the DD topic. It's been mostly light and I don't want to weigh it down with moderating........

2) Where is FC2 map

3) Where is FC2 collector planes

4) Where are the WW1 FM fixes

Indeed.  Long overdue

an air engagement was usually initiated by a sudden attack from a blind zone.

It always seems to me the AI has quite a bit better view than humans do, and also checks its six much more often. It's nearly impossible to approach an AI undetected, even from dead six and below, where you should be pretty much invisible. Are there any plans to "improve" (i.e. make more realistic) the AI in this regard?

EDIT: of course the same goes for offensive AI. Will it attempt to gain some positional advantage at some point in the future (if all goes right)?

If I'm correct in stating that these things aren't modeled yet, then as someone who only plays SP, is there currently any advantage to owning the bubbletop Spit?

It's not out of place at all on this map, full stop. 41 Squadron starting flying them on March 18, 1945 from Eindhoven; 130 Squadron from Eindhoven on March 22; 402 Squadron from Heesch on March 23. Yes, so that gives it about a max of (drum roll) two weeks in career mode, but it was there and it was flying combat missions within the given timeframe that the game officially covers.

As for the $$$ part, well yes, of course they hope to make money off of it. ?

Germany surrenders 7 May 1945... so the bubble top didn't really see much action?

For the same reason as the razorback and bubble-top P-47s got called the P-47D.

Who knows?

It did see aprox 5-6 weeks of action. First planes were introduced end of march IIRC.

He's totally cheating. Look at how many there is.

I think that to be grammatically correct it should read “Look how many there am.”

At least its a plane and not a lumbering hunk of metal on treads.

While I'm not exactly hyped for it, I can see the appeal of new gameplay and mission types for the Allies. Its certainly an iconic plane that played a huge role in the war.

Specific approach to nomenclature. Few differences from the high-back so for support and operational reasons they were essentially identical.

Umph…. Can be fun fly supply missions on TAW server, for example.

But flying cargo in single player is also fun (for me?).Supply airfields under fire or dropping supply containers. My Ju 52 I set separate controls for all three engines to maximise the Sim experience?

For those who like it a cargo plane can be a little jewel ?

The Fw 190 A/F also used different styles of canopies.

I think the A-7, A-8 and A-9 in addition to the Fw 190D-9 had blown and non blown variants. All late model Fw 190Ds (11,12,13) and Ta 152s had only blown.

Yes you can.  A nuclear hellfire may be just what is needed to clean up some of the threads.

Some key takeaways from me after being here a month.

The angst over the C-47 is fully understandable, but it is 3rd party and the delivery is not up to 1C at this point.

I will post anything I get, as soon as I get it. that's the best I can do for you.

But back to DD.

No DD today, we have major butthurt.

Get a DD today, we have major butthurt.

I'm seeing a trend here. ?

I can only hope that somebody is happy with something at some point around here. But maybe I'm too optimistic.

Or at least a little optimistic....
