Moving to a new computer

Greetings all!

 

My current gaming rig is over 5 years old, so I pulled the trigger and ordered a new one. What is the best way to move my current PWCG careers over to the new one so I don't have to start them from scratch? Also, does anyone know if I have to remove IL2 GB from my current rig before I download and install on my new one?

PWCG, you should be able to just copy and paste the whole directory.

 

Il-2 does not have to be uninstalled from your old PC before installing on a new one, but you can't log in to both at once. I have it on 2 PCs, and can play each separately on my original account, but I had to buy a second account so my father and I could play together. So as long as you only run it on one PC at a time, you're fine.

PS. I don't THINK anything bad will happen if you try to login to one while the other is logged in--it just won't let you--but I'm not totally sure. Best not to try it, just to be safe.

If you don't want to copy the whole of PWCG:

Zip up yout PWCG\User directory

Download PWCG to the BoS install directory as usual.

Unzip the Users directory to the new PWCG install.

 

All of the user specified stuff - campaigns, settings, etc. is in the User directory.
