C_Rodriguez Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 Hi all, If this is not the right place to post this, apologies! Just purchased IL-2 Sturmovik, and am in the process of installing. However, the dowload speed is incredibly slow! I'm getting ~300kB/s. I know my internet is fast, and have retstarted the launcher a few times. Just wondering if anyone had a quick fix for this? If it ends up being a matter of just having to wait, no big deal. Have the whole sim to look forward to! Thanks in advance.
senseispcc Posted October 21, 2022 Posted October 21, 2022 It is very variable, if there is a big update or a lot of persons trying at the same time it is possible! And I must say that download speed is variable, be patient this is a big game if you have all the modules it can take more time but at the end the result is wonderful! Be patient and the game is wort the time and effort you put in it! Download speed is never a exact science!

R33GZ Posted November 7, 2023 Posted November 7, 2023 Yeah, it is HIGHLY variable. I have had the same issues as you guys before. You will probably find that it gets to a certain point and speeds up drastically... and then slows down again, at least that is my experience 1

tirta Posted April 12 Posted April 12 After a long hiatus, I try to play the game again, however the download speed seems to get a lot slower. Now it is only around 300kpbs, and I have to download 23GB update? It has been like this for 3 days. Day or night no different. You should make a setting in the game, so it is possible to play the game using the old version. You force us to update the game to the latest version everytime but the download speed is very slow? IIRC this is one of the reasons that I stop playing thie game last time.
