Saving plane paint/tactical codes settings

In quick mission, if you die, then restart the mission (without ending the mission), when you respawn, your custom paint and tactical codes appear just as you left them.  However, if end the mission and then start a new one (same plane, same spawn location, etc), the paint and tactical codes are reset to default settings.

 

So...would it be possible, to retain the paint and Tactical codes when you end the mission, so that the next time you load the plane, it still has your "last" paint selection and TC selection?
