Yak-9T.. fast, nimble, good visibility, awesome guns

Arado Blitz ..Immune to fighters and very smooth flying

I play sp only, so competitiveness is not an issue, and I love heavy, two-engined fighters. ...and the P-39 because it was one of my first model kits.

   Speed and firepower, (but I mainly fly the Typhoon with its lower top speed and RoR).

Top dog Fighter in the real world low to mid altitude and is rightly so in game.

 

2. Supermarine Spitfire Mk XIV.

    Top dog Spitfire of WW II.

 

No.3

de Havilland Mosquito.

Supreme Low Level Attack aircraft.

 

No. 4

Mustang III.

Supreme all-rounder. British heritage.

 

No.5

Hawker Hurricane. Heavy and slow, but a 109 eater with the 20mm and 50 cal.

The Russians disliked them but they took 3,000.

Any other British aircraft.

It's worth watching. Specially in these long Canadian winter nights.  Those two characters are fun.

I like all the fighter planes in the game. I don't have time for slow bombers, but great to have them in the game. Each has their own strengths, weakensses and challenges.

 

Not in any order:

 

BF 109 - No real favourite version, each is interesting.
Yak-7b - It's a trainer that packs a punch.
MC-202 - Often feels outclassed, rewarding to win battles, looks so good.
Spitfire MK.XI - It seems to be the all rounder version currently in the game and fun to use.
P-39L - Rear engined, different design to fly.
