I REALLY need help re- Career mode.

Since the update, I can no longer get into my previous career, and I'm unable to open career in order to start a new one.  I can play almost everything else, but no way can I open Career.  The loading circle keeps spinning and spinning.  I let it do that for about 10 minutes, and it still wouldn.t enable access to career mode .  Please help guys.   thanks for all input...take care...

If you are on Steam try validating your install. Mayby some files got corrupted. You will find it under local files after right clicking on the game. Anything else and I am stumped.

I did that on Steam.  Still a no go.  This is the strangest issue I've ever had.  All options are available, except Career mode.  Can't be my hardware.  I have a 3090, an 11700K bothe water cooled, 32 gigs ram etc.  I can't figure this one out.

I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game as well as Steam, but nothing changed.  NO CAREER MODE.   How the hell do I fix this?  Who can I call?   This just drives me nuts.  Oh well, maybe someone here will have the answer.  If I can't get it here, I can't get it period.   Thanks all   take care....

When you uninstalled did you remove the remaining files in the Steamapps/game folder? Mayby your problematisch in one of the files that remain. Do backup the files because your user information (keybindings etc) will be there.

I did everything you suggested RedeyeStorm. I cleaned up everything I had for Steam and IL 2.   I also uninstalled steam VR etc just to make sure there was nothing at all related to steam or the game anywhere in my PC.  After days of trying to access BON and my Career mode, I figured, F...it, I'll buy the game on Steam and see if that works.  I'm in Canada, so the game cost me $90.  I have a lot of money invested in IL 2 cosidering the hardware I bought to play it in VR etc.  I have the 8KX HMD, VKB Gunfighter MK3 with 3 grips, throttle  etc. etc. All that costs a lot of cash, so out of desparation only, I bought it anyway. Guess what?  It worked.  Steam knew I had the recent updates installed that was, for all intent and purpose, Battle Of Normandy.  Steam didn't say "you already own this game" or already have files installed as they normally would have done.  They took my money  and that's that.  Am I happy?  Yup.  I got what I wanted.  My Carrer mode.   Thanks for your input RedeyeStorm.  There's always someonr here that can help with issues, and I appreciate that.  Take care all...
