How to coordinate two human squads in a mission?

Hello, we are several people doing a campaign and we want to divide ourselves between a squad of P47 to bomb and some spitfire to escort them, but when creating the mission I can't get the two squads to carry out the same mission, one bombs and the others escort them. what I get is that they give them different mission routes. Thank you

If I recall, it's not possible for a human squad to be assigned to escort another human squad. I suppose you could send the Spitfires on a regular patrol and just meet up with the P-47s on their own though. PWCG doesn't penalize you for not doing what you're "supposed" to be doing.

It's not possible but it is sort of possible ... 

 

Both human controlled flights have the ability to edit waypoints.  Move the waypoints to coincide.  Make sure the human is the flight lead so the rest of the flight follows him.  Then use comms to hook up at a rendezvous point.

 

If both of the flights get an attack mission then scrub it and try again.  Once one flight gets an attack and the other gets a fighter mission you can rearrange the fighter flight waypoints to really be an escort for the attack flight.
