Hello all,

I'm trying to bind a button on my Virpil Mongoose T50 CM throttle to the mixture control. It appears the button sends two signals, one on pressing the button and another when the button is released. Because of that it wants to bind the same button to change the mixture both up and down. Obviously this cannot work.

I have tried using the Virpil configuration software to set a delay hoping I would be able to let the first button up and press the second button before the first buttons release signal was sent. This did not appear to work but I'm not entirely sure I did it correctly either. When practicing doing this I could see in the Virpil tool that the second button was being pressed before the first buttons second signal arrived.

If anyone has any other ideas on how to fix this issue I would appreciate hearing from you.

Thanks in advance.

You can edit the control ini file. Easiest way I can think of. You’ll find it in the game/bin/inputs folder. Since the individual profiles each control set has its own name.

Excellent news Boo. Well excellent for me anyway.? Thank you very much mate it looks like I have solved that issue. Whilst your information above wasn't exactly correct it was closer enough that I could muck around until I got it to work. The configuration seems to be a bit different from what you mentioned above, presumably because of the new way that multiple profiles can be used. If you are interested let me know here and I will detail the differences.

Again, thank you, very much appreciated. I've been stumped by this one for days and not been able to fly.

Glad it worked - yeah sorry about the vagueness, I was out with the dog. I know i struggled yesterday findig the right file to edit the T50s Z axis/ Button 18 shenanigans.

I think posting the methodology is a good thing - there are a couple of existing threads it could be attached to - Id look in the search function for something like Virpil+brake lever+button to see what comes up and add it to the first one. (or start a new thread in the TEch issues forum)

I think it would certainly help a good few others.

No need to apologise at all mate, you were very helpful.

The correct folder is now gamefolder/data/input and the two files you need to edit are called current.map and global.actions. In both of the I just used notepad to open them as text files and searched for the control I was looking for. Once I found it I edited the incorrect number to the correct one, saved and exited.

Thanks again Boo.
