343KKT_Kintaro Posted October 14, 2022 Posted October 14, 2022 (edited) Is'nt this a "Leichter Panzerspähwagen" ? ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leichter_Panzersp%C3%A4hwagen ) EDIT : Yes, I think it is a "Leichter Panzerspähwagen" (as named in Wikipedia) or a "Sd.Kfz.222", the version as it was named in a game update last year. Eisenfaustus Posted October 14, 2022 Posted October 14, 2022 I think he‘s referring to German army units in the UK… Quick missions are designed for action not authenticity. If you find Panzeraufklärungskräfte north of the channel in career something might be off 2

Gruber's little tank. I poorly know the set of available AI vehicles in the Great Battles series and I was wondering what this German vehicle is. End of the off topic, apologies.

Trooper117 Posted October 14, 2022 Posted October 14, 2022 The nearest Gruber got to the Eastern Front was Rene's Cafe in Nouvion! 1
dbuile Posted October 14, 2022 Posted October 14, 2022 "You mean that wasn't the ferry to Guernsey?!" 1

"Ello" is a sort of shorthand traditional English way of saying "Hello" We had a comedy farce show in the UK called "Allo Allo" that Tattie mistyped. It was inspired by a rather dark BBC tale of the reistance called Secret Army. The reference to "Good Moaning" comes from a character in the show Officer Crabtree (an undercover english agent pretending to be a French policman). The contrive is that when the characters are speaking in french, its outragiously overdone, same for english, German and Italian. So the character who the line is attributed to is an englishman speaking "french" but mispronouncing certain phrases which then become double entandres or similar. I hated it at the time - only now do I realise its utter genius. Edited October 14, 2022 by BOO 1

I know the TV series "Allo Allo", it has been exported to the two countries were I've lived in, France and Spain. 10 minutes ago, BOO said: It was inspired by a rather dark BBC tale of the reistance called Secret Army. The puns, the double entendres... I watched that show many years ago, although I never followed it faithfully. Thank you Boo.

AQMB creates enemies close where you start, so if you select a england airfield and allied aircraft, it's obvious it will generate germans on england 2

It's been a feature since Rise of Flight and when the Channel map was integrated over there...and the exact same (and reasonable) explanation was given then. 1
senseispcc Posted October 15, 2022 Posted October 15, 2022 It is a litttle problem with distance and the mission maker on the Normandy map! If you ask for a fast mission in the game on the Normandy map you should do it on the map when the allies are already on the French beaches so that the Germans are in France at less than the 50 milles required for the mission! If you chose the D-day map then your ally plane begin in the British Iles and due to the 50 milles rule so do the German targets...
