FullOfWynn Posted October 14, 2022 Posted October 14, 2022 So Ive got the following issues 1.) no drivers for windows 11, and the old drivers only make the hotas recognized in the settings. They do nothing for recognition in the game itself. 2.) in game, when attempting manual key/axis bindings, IL2GB(Stalingrad) only recognizes the throttle portion, and not the joystick, though I do have lighted buttons and power to the joystick portion, so I know that it is properly connected to the setup. 3.) While I re-found the profile loading software, it doesn't have any profiles for the x52 pro; only the x55/56 and Rhino. neither of the profiles work for (any) of the games I try to load, being DCS, IL2, etc. 4.) this is a new machine. on the old machine that unfortunately burnt out, I had managed the setup just fine. its just this windows 11 BS that is hanging it up. Do I have to get a less sophisticated controller? Ive ensured up to date drivers on my machine, IL2 runs smoothly, on all settings (looks AMAZING on ultra!), and it LOOKS to be some great fun. But trying a few missions with the mouse, and I find it unflyable. like literally worse than WoWP. Any assistance in getting this solved would be greatly appreciated. NOTE: no, I didnt look and see if there was a previous topic covering this issue, as there's a minute delay per search, and I'm not about to wait 1 minute to enter another search in the field to try to narrow down any results.
marcobona Posted October 14, 2022 Posted October 14, 2022 Try this one for your device: X52 Space/Flight H.O.T.A.S. Software
DD_Friar Posted October 14, 2022 Posted October 14, 2022 @FullOfWynn Tip a better way to search this forum due the stupid way repeat search get locked, is to use google and the statement site: il2sturmovik.com "X52" (for example) Works much better.

Thats what I attempted to use after the x52 pro HOTAS software didn't properly function. Still no input detected, though still with LEDs illuminated, from the stick portion only. If I can't get it to work sooner rather than later, I think I may try to sell it, and look to purchase a different HOTAS. Any further troubleshooting tips, or even opinions on which other HOTAS' work well with IL2 would be greatly appreciated.
