New propellers may be causing artifacts in VR

I played a little solo tonight and noticed lots of reprojection artifacts on the propellers, a problem that has plagued MSFS.  I never experienced the issue with the old flat props.  May we please have the ability to revert the textures for the propellers back to pre-update?  With MSFS people modded the props, but the textures wouldn't load properly in most planes, so it was very unreliable.  

If this is what I suspect it is, it will ruin the game for VR users who depend upon reprojection to keep the game smooth.

I just fired it up again hoping that there would be an update to resolve this issue.  Unfortunately there is not.  I've been working to get the settings just right to get the VR experience to a satisfactory state, but now all that work is gone.  And, I just bought an expansion.  The sim is useless now because everything viewed through the new propeller is a nasty mess of artifacts in VR.  All of the money I've spent is wasted now.  Ironically, MSFS has had this issue for a while, and when submitting it to that forum as a bug, I bragged about how great IL2's propellers work in VR, and advised the MSFS devs to create new propeller textures like those in IL2.

I hope this gets fixed soon.  Please consider giving the user the option in the settings menu to roll back the new propeller texture changes.

Despite not playing with reprojection I can verify the above if I enable it. At a certain angle to the sun especially it's a mess.

 

Continuing the OP's MSFS tangent: much like IL-2 used to be with the parameter in startup.cfg, there is a popular VR-friendly mod for MSFS which makes props close to invisible at RPM higher than idling.
