New Italian Planes?

There are a handful of Italian Planes that could be added that saw service over Russia,

BR 20
CA 311

This guy does a great job outlining a Sicily pack, only thing I would change is switching the ca314 for a do217

I have always been very fond of the looks of Italian Aircraft, so it would be great if we could see more of them in GB.

Agree, unless LOFT aka Albert had plans or a tentative plan to go to the MTO after BOM, I don’t understand why the devs picked the C.202 over the C.200 for BOM, especially considering the fact that it wasn’t even operating on the Eastern Front during the BOM timeframe and only did 17 sorties during the BoS timeframe ?

If MTO will be....I suppose we can get interesting planes like Mc200 ( helpful in Moscow and MTO 41-42).

Note also Mc200 was never developed by TF for CLOD( so it could be left to GB next DLC plans?).

The MTO time frame since 41 to 43, could be covered by planes like: SM79, Re2001-2002, MC205, Re 2005.

It was probably a matter of having access to the proper visual references and manuals to make it as close to as possible to what it was in reality. Plus it actually saw action at BOS although very scarcely like you said so it kind of made sense to add it as an axis collector plane. When BOM was announced, they decided to add it to the campaign even though its not realistic, to make its purchase even more worthwhile, like the 190A3 for BOS if you will.

 

But if they announce the Saetta as a collector plane to add it to BOM, I will buy it and I wont regret my purchase of the Mc202 even though it means it will only be available for BOS from now on, like it really happened.
