Some reading ?

while strolling at my bookstore, he made me discover a very nice series on the Afrikakorps, and another, more wacky, and a little less impressive:

 

 

for this series, it's rather realistic, we follow the arrival of the afrika korps, until its withdrawal approximately. it addresses different aspects of tank companies (combat, supply, communication...), with magnificent drawings..

 

 

for this one, it's more "imaginary": in some, there is a big bad Nazi, with the face of Skullface, in another, it's an uchronia (Maus vs T-44...), and times, it's more realistic (like the story of an American crew, from the landing to the surrender). the drawings are more "rough", but it's still a nice entertainment

 

for the second, it seems maybe (I say maybe), a possibility that it be translated into other languages (including English I imagine...)), the first on the other hand, no idea, but the drawings are enough on their own in my opinion...

if anyone knows other comics talking about tanks from a realistic point of view, I'm interested, it seems quite rare

S! @moustache , I did buy the (2) two first cover of AfrikaKorps... but I didn't know about the third tome... I will need to go see if I can get it. I did like the design and storytelling of the first 2 tomes.

if you are interested, there is a "deluxe" version, not much more expensive with very nice sketches... did you know of other comics around tanks?

Could be the basis of some DF missions using Off Winters Africa mod………
