Are multi keybinds no longer a thing?

I should add WERE multi keybinds ever a thing?

Come back to Clod after maybe 2 years and new pc build. I am sure I could one use the button of one joystick as a modifier for a keybind (ie press something on the joytick as well as something on the throttle at the sametime to get a kind of shift state)

Doesnt seem to be happening for me now. Should I be able to do this?

JoyToKey is also what I use. Very easy & intuitive, yet powerful program. And best of all it does not need any kind of virtual joystick shenanigans.

You still can use a joystick button as modifier for another joystick button, keypress* or an axis (this not much practical due the freeze effect).

  • * Single key press, since the GUI pick only two press. So you can't use Joy button 1 to modify CTRL+B, only B.

And can use this button for modify another controller.

I test now with Clod Blitz and still working: An button in my joystick modify the axis of my rudder pedal - both independent USB device.

In short, Gladiator button #13 modify T-Rudder axis X, used for Yaw control to be the Undercarriage control (just for test).

Previously I’d always run clod with a target custom profile and I’d left a joy to key profile I used to get a shift modifier in BoS running. That was messing it up somewhat although oddly some combinations work and other don’t.
