changing console button

shift or control brings up the console in 1946 was wondering how one could change or remove this keybind as it pauses the game any time i hit a modifier key. Thanks.

In file conf.ini, look for these lines:

 

[HotKey Console]
Shift Tab=Activate

 

For me it was always Shift-Tab combo to open the console.

You sure it's just Shift or Ctrl that does it?
