Will a 2070 super push a g2?

My bday is in 2 days and my wife is getting me a replacement HMD (currently rift s) so I'm thinking about the hp reverb g2 but I'm worried my specs wont run it like my rift s. Is it worth replacing my rift s?

I mainly fly and race.

Im running a G2 with a 3090, and with high settings, its taxing on even that thing. My previous 3060 would run it, but I couldnt get the clarity and had difficulty identifying pretty much everything. A 2070 will be on its knees with a G2.

I'm getting a solid 45fps on high graphics settings using the following:

• Reverb G2 ver2
• AMD Ryzen 2700x
• 32gb DDR4 3200mh
• M2 SSD
• Nvidia RTX 2080ti (11gb)

I'm using Steam VR and stock drivers. If you're considering a G2, I would take a hard look at the comparably priced Pimax 5k. It has a wider FOV and it can't possibly be less comfortable; The G2 absolutely sucks in the comfort and wearability department.
