J2_Steve Posted October 10, 2022 Posted October 10, 2022 (edited) After years of playing combat sims, I've decided I am giving up flight sims. I have sold off most of my kit. Everything has gone now except for my controllers. So just wondering if there is anyone on here local to me in SE London/Kent that might be interested in: First edition Slaw 109 pedals (non-Cam, first set of pedals slaw sent to the west ) Warthog Stick and throttle (with Slew Mod) Chebb printed KG-13 slight damage on trigger mount, but still perfectly usable Sahaj 20cm extension Sahaj Red Spring fitted, spare spring in bundle 10cm Ebay cheapo extension Looking for £400 for the lot I would prefer someone local-ish so I don't have to go through the pain of postage etc DM me if interested. I will post if needed, but the weight of components will make it quite expensive EDIT: No longer available. Edited October 22, 2022 by J2_SteveF added more detail
J2_Steve Posted October 21, 2022 Author Posted October 21, 2022 I can't believe there hasn't been a single offer not even a silly one. Not even been asked to split them. Slaw 109 pedals and KG13 already wired for a Warthog!! it's not like they are plentiful. Unfortunately, as I've failed to sell anything or even give it away, they are going down to our local recycling centre tomorrow. I need the space and don't want to have these getting in the way.
Archie Posted October 21, 2022 Posted October 21, 2022 Try the DCS forum maybe? 7 minutes ago, J2_SteveF said: I can't believe there hasn't been a single offer not even a silly one. I'm a little shocked nobody wants this top of the line stuff (I already have a Baur KG13 and Crosswinds or I'd have been interested) Maybe nobody has any money these days.
SCG_Tzigy Posted October 21, 2022 Posted October 21, 2022 nooo!!! srryy to hear, quite decent setup i already have full cabinet, spares and all and cant think of a friend that needs anything.. donate local school for a project or similar?
J2_Steve Posted October 21, 2022 Author Posted October 21, 2022 (edited) I think that is what the issue is, the community has shrunk and what's left is all kitted out. But I need the space, have no use for this stuff anymore and it has to go I've already taken the seat and pit to the dump. Didn't think this stuff would follow. Had them up here and SimHq. not a nibble on either site. The PC, VR and monitor all went really quickly. The controllers ...no. Maybe this is an indication on the health of the flight sim community. It's definitely not what it was and I've noticed the decline, but didn't think it was as bad as this Edited October 21, 2022 by J2_SteveF
SCG_Tzigy Posted October 21, 2022 Posted October 21, 2022 I live in Alaska but have family in Czech I wonder how much it would be to ship to Prague, maybe I could use another backup set..
Capt_Hook Posted October 22, 2022 Posted October 22, 2022 I have those exact pedals (109, pre-cam), and they're worth what you're asking all by themselves.
FlyinCoffin Posted October 22, 2022 Posted October 22, 2022 (edited) wrong thread sorry Edited October 22, 2022 by FlyinCoffin

shirazjohn Posted October 22, 2022 Posted October 22, 2022 I'm sure someone will purchase on Ebay , have you tried?.
cardboard_killer Posted October 22, 2022 Posted October 22, 2022 Sadly, the lack of interest seems to point to a larger lack of interest in the hobby. I tried to sell my Gladiator II stick and didn't even receive a low ball offer. Seems like everyone that plays has kit and is, erm, "mature"; young people don't care about planes and WW2 is ancient history. (I will give them this--WW2 is further away from them than WW1 was when I was growing up.)
