1111mark*norma* Posted October 7, 2022 Posted October 7, 2022 I really don't get to fly a lot but i know i'm missing something here. I have tracker ir and i set up what i think is going to work for me. I'm in the cockpit flying going into combat, I press f12 to center now i'm looking at the top of instrument panel. Now i have to completely remove me from il2 and start over. I hope this makes sense. I would appreciate any help on this. Many Thanks forward.
Props Posted October 8, 2022 Posted October 8, 2022 (edited) Are you using 6 DoF? And what model is it- Track IR 5? Try this: I always zoom all the way the back for my widest FoV (provided that you have zoom setup on a 4-way hat switch or slider, etc.) then I hit F12. If my view is a little low as if I'm looking over at the lower part of the cockpit I tilt my head down just a bit and hit F12 again and this will raise my PoV to center higher in the cockpit. Vice versa if I appear to be looking up at the sky above the windscreen I tilt my head up, or down as needed then hit F12 to lower my PoV accordingly. This can also be adjusted side to side, and up and down by raising your whole body a bit or moving your body, or head, to either side as needed to adjust your center. You can do this repeatedly with F12 till your happy with your "center" view. I sometimes adjust a little in flight when I notice my directly straight ahead view through the gunsite seems a bit off. You might want to spend a little more time in the Track IR setup control panel fiddling with the curves and settings as well as adjusting the angle or height of the physical camera mounted on your monitor as this can help a little bit- check in the control panel the view of where the camera "sees" your trackclip reflectors or IR leds, and adjust the camera to center this. Like Glance at Dashboard from the looks of it. Start the game without TIR and hit F12. What happens? Map center view in the TRI software to something else (like ctrl+shft+c or something that won‘t be in use), start TIR and the game and center view. What happens? 1
