Howdy; I've been using a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro for the longest time and have finally made an upgrade to a new setup, however I've encountered a rather odd issue that's making it impossible to fly!

After binding up my new button setup (Both the Stick AND Throttle allowing me to input buttons and set axis in the menu) I booted up a quick mission to test my aircraft and found the most peculiar thing! My stick isn't registering whatsoever when I'm actually in a plane.

My throttle and all the buttons thereon will function on the ground after being bound, but my 1600M itself is completely dead to inputs despite continually being able to adjust and input controls and the joystick itself functioning on other games.

I cannot replicate this issue on any other game, thus it's solely an IL-2 issue. I also made two fresh installs of the firmware previous to this. Thus I ask what I can do to remedy this short of only plugging in my stick?

Changes to devices.txt had interesting results, reversing the order caused only the T.1600M to work, but soley on the rudder axis and with no bound buttons, whilst setting the Joystick to 1 and the Throttle to 2 killed both.

I've verified my integrity of game cache, twice.

Any help would be appreciated.

Delete or rename the device.txt to xxx.txt and let teh game make a new device.txt on new start of the game

Thank you! This fixed it, oddly enough I had to rebind the axises for my Joystick after the file change and then it would allow me to use the buttons on it in game. You're a lifesaver.
