Can you modify gunsights?

Would like to change some of the gunsights, like the A6M2's that pretty much hides the target, with something more like a dot with a couple thin ranging rings. Is this possible? I can't see where they are saved either..

I think this is not possible, but there are 2 different positions in the cockpit. one is centered in the cockpit and one directly behind the gun sight (I know this only from german planes were the sight is right of the center the cockpit)

Yeah, I can get the sight centered, it's just that (the A6M2) sight pretty much blocks out the sight picture. I'm sure others are fine, but all my initial testing was done in the A6M2 as I the only reason for me trying 1946 after many years is that wanted to fly the Pacific theater. I have all BoX content, CloD (with tobruk), DCS, etc but my plane back in the days of Aces High was the A6Mx and I missed it..

Sometimes I fly with War Thunder Pacific Missions. With Simulator difficulty, no HUD, no icons no symbols it is more than just an arcade game. There is the possibility to fly some single player missions if you choose Test Flight for your WW2 Pacific Plane there will be an option like "Mission Editor" where you can choose some  battles and tyou cane define some the mission parameters.

Or there is another Option to create Custom Missions (not the self created missions with the full mission editor) where there are Pacific Battles available too. There are Bots available too.
