Can we clean up the pinned posts (13!!) ??

For the love of Pikachu, can we trim the number of pinned posts in the General Discussion page?

It makes for a really poor user experience in the forums, and reminds me of my messy garage.

I agree.   I’m continually reminded of my own mortality every time I scroll.

What's the difference between the General discussion page and your garage?

Won't find any dead hookers on the discussion page.

This implies that the rest of the contents are alike. Think about this.

Conversely, I’d like to suggest that it might be nice to have a pinned memorial thread for members who have passed on. We’ve lost several members who were long time posters and key members of the community in the last couple of years. With the pandemic, I suspect many others have left us without our knowing. To my mind, it would be nice to have them remembered for their contributions.

Those contributions are remembered within the threads and in context. Perhaps a stickied thread for the community RIP notifications though.

Like I said in a previous post.   I feel extremely mortal every time I visit this forum.   It’s depressing.

You should be in my shoes... people I joined the army with are dying off on a regular basis. You begin to wonder when it's your turn...  :hunter:
