=RS=Funkie Posted September 29, 2022 Posted September 29, 2022 The issue I have is that geometry mode makes my left eye lash behind but also the image I get isn't stereoscopic. I have a very playable smooth version of Il2 running with Vorpx in VR mode, with positional/rotational head tracking and all that. But as soon as I switch on the geometry 3d mode, all of a sudden the left eye perspective lags behind the right eye in terms of tracking making for quite a disorienting experience. The other issue is that even with geometry 3d enabled, I can tell that it's still not stereoscopic. (Well, except for wing mounted gun on the 109 which for some reason is the only thing such looks different between my left and right eyes.) It's a very strange thing, and I'm unsure what to try next. Oh, I haven't seen it written anywhere also, but do you guys use OpenGL mode or DirectX? Vorpx seems to only be able to inject itself into the OpenGL version. I read on the Vorpx forum when someone casually mentioned that they used DGVoodoo DirectX wrapper to get Vorpx working in il2 1946. I tried popping the DLLs into the folder but besides getting a pop-up warning about a third party dll being detected, it still wouldn't inject (nor would the alternative method) or the hook file option. Also another issue perhaps related is that sometimes I get an error "Oculus runtime error: Couldn’t load libOVRRT. (-3001)" Switching Vorpx to SteamVR mode doesn't help.
