Two quick questions about combat box

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Hopped back on combat box for the first time in a while and have two questions.

1) is there any way to increase the volume in srs? It's hard to hear anything over the sound of my prop.

2) I couldnt find any rules on this, but if an enemy pilot is over an airfield that is NOT a safe zone (has the circle around it on the map) he is fair game right? I had an instance last night where me and a few others were dogfighting over an unprotected airfield and I managed to damage a 109 and he tried to land in the thick of it. I didn't let it happen, but afterwards wondered if I was supposed to let him land on this server. Couldnt find anything about it in the rules.

1) Have you tried the "Speaker Boost" slider on the SRS app's General tab? Decreasing IL-2's in-game volume also helps.

2) There are no rules against attacking players on the ground at unprotected airfields.

That works! I originally thought the boost was for your own mic volume.
