I have a new PC. I own FC 1 and 2. Can somebody explain the best process for me to install and activate my two games on this new desktop PC?

I'm kind of an old guy. I just had some painful surgery. I could use a break and some assistance in this department. Thanks for the help.

Edit: In thinking more about it, once IL-2 itself is downloaded and installed it "should" see any additional modules you have purchased and activated and they will automatically be visible..

First of all, best wishes from another "kind of old guy" for a speedy recovery. Now how to install depends on where you purchased. If on Steam simply install the Steam Client and IL-2 will show up in your Steam Library, find it and click "Install". If you have the game installed and still don't see FC planes and campaigns go to https://il2sturmovik.com/ , Login, go to the "Purchases" tab and I believe you will see the games there to install. If not try the "License Keys" tab..

I stupidly bought the first game from steam back in the day so I use that but dont you need to download the installer/updater from the IL2 site first if you are doing it standalone (Profle/Download  then click on the red "Download" word?)

On steam - it will always try to install everything in C/X86Progams - but you can browse to any other location you want at the set up as your library. I think the set up process is automated on first set up (ie it asks to you do stuff as opposed to you having to find it).

I'm sorry I didn't specify - I did NOT buy from Steam. That's an important bit that I left out.

Thanks for the help, folks. Game and modules are successfully installed.
