Should AI Parked Planes Be MCU Repairable?

Salute,

I have a mission where I am making a players airfield non operational (disabled spawn point) if a number of planes are damaged at the airfield.

These are AI planes parked around the perimeter of the airfield.

I have a counter which is triggered when the correct number of planes are damaged.

This then disables the players spawn point for x minutes.

When the timer is up I have a MCU repair complete linked to the AI aircraft however they do not get repaired?

 

Should AI aircraft be repairable?

Any advice / pointers as always well received.
