How much storage does the game take up?

As the title says, I wanted to buy battle of Stalingrad on Steam (I like having all my games organized). How much storage space would that take up do you think? Additionally, if I bought battle of Stalingrad on the official website, how much storage space would that take up? Thank you for any and all answers.

I have everything save Flying Circus II, (plus a shed load of skins) and it takes up 98.3GB.

My folder is 108GB. Everything is bought from the official store. Have all expansions + skins.

To clarify: Regardless of what you buy, the game will download all the assets, so adding more battles won't change the size. The delta between people's storage numbers might be mods, temp files, logs, downloaded missions, screenshots, tracks, skins, etc.

From memory, my initial Great Battles download for BoK purchased last year was approx 30Gb - It has grown since then with screenshot, recorded tracks extra missions etc

Straight out of the Steam Library (I changed out the Stalingrad art for Normandy;) this does not include skins, mods or other files. 64GB.

If you add a ton of skins and custom missions, it can add up quickly (156 GB for me).

You can browse to where the your folder "IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of -----------" is (for me its Battle of Stalingrad - i dunno if it always the first game you bought in the series) and either hover your mouse over it or right click and select "properties" and that will tell you.

103 GB for me. I have a very small number of custom skins installed, about 5.

does anyone know why there is this difference (of 40 GB anyway) between the "homemade" version and the steam version? isn't it the launcher that weighs all that?
Is there a way to reduce the file size a bit?

As Jade_Monkey already said, all modules should be equal and any differences likely come from additional skins, campaigns, missions or mods. If you don't plan to use any of those, look for the minimum of the numbers mentioned above.

Based on the name, I'm assuming that with "octet" you mean "byte"? And with Go you mean GB (rather than Gb)?

You mean the contents of your "updates" folder? Strange, there's definitely no stray 40GB files on Steam... Did you try to remove them and see what happens?

not possible, the launcher will redownload the update... (i'm on "homemade launcher"...)
