Do you want to help in updating the BoS page?

Dear Friends,

 

The «Battle of Normandy» has been released recently in our webstore. In preparation to its release on Steam we want to update the main page of the game there, «Battle of Stalingrad». The project changed much visually and we want all the people visiting its Steam store page to see IL-2 Great Battles in all its glory - with new sky, clouds and many other improvements that were added to the sim during all these years.

 

We invite you to participate - submit your best Battle of Stalingrad screenshots! The best ones will be published on the Steam store page and other official channels. If you want to join, please follow these guidelines:

screenshots should be taken in the current game version with highest graphics settings, gamma should be set to default and overlays like FPS counters disabled;

their size should be 1920х1080 (FullHD) or larger;

they shouldn't be altered in a graphics editor and please don't add any logos, signatures, etc.;

they should show the aircraft of the BoS Standard edition (LaGG-3, Yak-1 s.69, Bf 109 F4 and G2, IL-2 mod. 1942, Ju 87 Stuka, Pe-2 s.87 and He 111 H16) and other objects and vehicles one can encounter on Stalingrad map (either of its seasons), beautiful vistas are also ok;

please use the official skins - the idea is to show what BoS owners will see in the game;

please submit your screenshots until and including September 27th.

 

Other suggestions: try different weather, time and season combinations to achieve best results. It is advised to enable cinematographic camera option. Don't neglect in-cockpit shots - they can be stunning too!

 

After Sep. 27th our team will choose the best ones to be used on Steam, website and other official channels. We also prepared gifts for the authors of the best screenshots - IL-2 Great Battles content. Please upload your screenshot(s) to any hosting that is convenient for you and post the link on FB (and keep the original in case the hosting compresses them, reducing quality).
