game crashes during initial loading screen and only loads when offline

G'day everyone, just recently had some troubles. when I launch the sim and it goes to the initial black loading screen, once it reaches full the game crashes leading me back to the desktop. it randomly loaded once and said I was offline and when I kept picking to go online it wouldn't work, I pressed offline mode and the game crashed again. I turned off my internet and loaded it up, it loaded fine and obviously picking offline mode and it worked then. anyone know what the problem is? it seems like it has something to do with the internet. I've already checked integrity of the files and even had to resort to moving it to another drive on the pc. moving it worked for a few days but its doing it again. I'm unable to play online

A lot of, if not all, STEAM users have this problem after the last update  Simply crash to the desktop every time its launched!

It's lasting quite long this time. I hope they won't kedy us waiting till the next update....
