Crash problem on startup - Again

That's the exact issue Im having, steam VR was indicating a earlier crash causing some add ons to be disabled ...not sure if that has anything to do with it?

yesterday the game crashed once while playing which has not happened in a very long time for me, today doesnt quite get passed the loading screen.

fingers crossed for a fix soon

 

Ok so I just had a win, I opened steam and went to verify files page, clicked on the "browse" button to where the Il2 games files are stored and started the game from the il-2.exe in the c drive and it opened and in VR too, I did need to re sign in at the home screen but its working now.

havent actually played a game as its literally just started working... maybe they fixed it as I tried this?

 

Right, just quickly played on a dog fight server and my DLC planes are not active hmmmm

I re start from steam as normal and get to the login page with my details saved and a message to to activate the DLC use the merge account and login button, click this and it crashed again.

yea i tried merging accounts and it just crashes. my dlc isnt locked though if i launch it alternatively

I can't seem to get it to download, when I launch any content I got from steam is MIA

Others have had updates.

Fiddled with it a little bit, 

I can log in and use stuff I bought from the website and play no problem. Anything from Steam is MIA. 

If I link accounts instant crash 
I launch from Steam, Crash.

Amy news? I'd really like to hear on this from the devs... I don't like this silence. If the game have problem on steam why do they sell it on there? 

They should make DLC buyed on steam also aviable on standalone verion for this case.... They should merge the versions.

for me the game don't launch by steam: return to windows after authentication. 
game works using il-2.exe in the bin directory

Yes it does. But it does not recognize DLCs buyed on steam....

So it makes it guitar useless ??

I can't access my game ether in Steam, CTD.

Now it seems to be fixed. There is the log-on screen where you put your email and password. I clicked steam only and it worked.
