Hi there, that's looking interesting, and I am thinking about signing up.

Just checked out my old installation, got everything up, assigned, and working so far again after, I guess, almost 10 years.
However I can't remember how to hook up to the catapult and get launched.

Does some kind soul out there, perhaps?

Thx!

We are handling most questions on the discord which can be found in the FAQ. You should not need to get hooked up to launch from a carrier in a WWII plane, you just take your chocks off and then lift

Due to your enticing YT video I got all set up (with help from "1946 Tech Support" on Discord, HSFX installed/updated. Issues with too many controllers (I have 7) so I unplugged my MFDs and ICP to get down to 3. Then had to disable TARGET as it sets my HOTAS up to have 128DX assignments. Then had issues with the mouse not moving after startup but think that got fixed when I changed my resolution from single screen (2560x1440) to native (triples) 7680x1440. Issue with triples is the UI is stretched way out and the cockpit is huge. Stepped down the FOV to make it "acceptable" but TIR doesn't work and something is messed up with the controls (or the A6M2 is really hard to get airborne).. Need to run this single screen and get the TIR functioning and maybe can get into it, but it sure has go me wishing there was an IL-2 BoX Pacific theater....

I would recommend joining our discord. We have tech support who are going through and troubleshooting with players.

We will be doing more events, we will post more information here when ready (in next 2-3 weeks) but in mean time you can find us on our discord

I'm there, and as I said I got this far because of "with help from "1946 Tech Support on Discord"... I have everything fixed except the FOV issue on triples, at the highest setting the cockpit is still about 20-30% too large.. Working with Shermy now, see what we come up with.

EDIT: I did get the FOV mod to work, now I can zoom in/out to exactly what I feel is correct!
