Misty06 Posted September 17, 2022 Posted September 17, 2022 IS there a location in the community for any MODS for CLOD-B and Tobruk ? I was wondering if there was anything terrain color-wise for Tobruk. Some of the terrain seems a tad to "almost" orange to be digested. Just me............. AWESOME SIM ! Would also like to beef up the puny sounds of some of the guns.

No idea, devs will tell. 2 hours ago, Misty06 said: Some of the terrain seems a tad to "almost" orange to be digested. Long debate indeed. Personally I'm happy with the desert map as it is. I've been twice at the Eastern Desert in Egypt and the variety of colours there is not very different of what we see in the sim. So these coulours are fine to me. My opinion only. Anyway, you may be aware of the current project of TFS which consists in "refurbishing" the existing maps in the sim, the Channel map and the Tobruk map. Before you start modding anything (or asking permission for modding anything) please be patient and see the look of the maps after they're revisited by the devs. Apparently the release is bound to happen... within a few days, weeks or months... 2 hours ago, Misty06 said: Would also like to beef up the puny sounds of some of the guns.

You have to remember that monitors render things quite differently from one another, especially if uncalibrated. If you have a cheap monitor, I would suggest considering upgrading to something of better quality. People buy these nice GPU's, but fail to take advantage of their abilities by displaying content on a rubbish monitor. It's like having an Aston Martin with a Peugeot engine. 1
