Is there something wrong with Lag 3 ?

This morning i played in mp finnish server flying a lag 3. In both missions i encountered a he 111. In the first mission guns worked properly but at the second one there where NO TRACERS AND NO HITS while i aimed very close and precise.  After that returning to base and before landing i push the trigger multiple times to see if there were any tracers and again nothing. I heard the machine gun and cannon firing but i saw no tracers. Is there any bug or something?
